Albert Rodriguez is President and Chief Operating Officer of Spanish Broadcasting System. He has overall responsibility of SBS operations and oversees the future growth and financial performance of the Company’s radio, TV, digital and experiential businesses, and market-leading brands. Working closely with the leadership team, he transformed SBS from a radio station operator to one of the largest minority-owned multi-media companies in the U.S. He is widely known across the Hispanic media industry for his proven expertise in building brands and delivering visionary leadership and strategic direction. With over 20 years of experience as a versatile media executive, Rodriguez’s background spans broadcast sales management, reporting, and operational leadership. Throughout his tenure at SBS, Rodriguez has held numerous leadership positions in both the television and radio segments. As the General Sales Manager of Miami he oversaw radio and online revenues of $50 million; as VP General Manager, he directed TV and online revenues for WSBS; and as Chief Revenue Officer, he managed all revenue for radio, TV, interactive and digital assets. He is on the Board of the Hispanic Marketing Council. In 2021 he was named one of the Top 40 most powerful people in radio by Radio Ink Magazine and was a notable speaker during the Medallas de Cortez Ceremony at the Hispanic Radio Conference. In the same year he was named a Latin Power Player by Billboard Magazine
